On the morning of December 23rd, a studying seminar on spiritual theory of Starting the New Journey of Building a Socialist Modern Country in an All-round Way of the Fifth PlenarySession of the 19th CPC Central Committee was held by Anhui University of Finance and Economics, the Committee Propaganda Department , the Federation of Social Science , the Union Marxism school, the Ethics Society , the Philosophy Society , thesocialism with Chinese characteristics Research Association of Bengbu city, and co-organized byMarxism school ,Xi Jinping New era socialism researchwith Chinese characteristics center , the special zone of the applied discipline of historical materialism of Anhui University of Finance and Economics inLecture hall, Qiuzhen building, Longhu East Campus. The meeting was attended by Xie Bing, the member of the Standing Committee of the Bengbu Municipal Party Committee and Minister of Propaganda;Yang Ye, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Bengbu Municipal Party Committee; Wei Wenlian, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Anhui Institute of Science and Technology; Guo youqiang, the member and vice president of the Bengbu School Party Committee; Hu Fengzhi, the party secretary and chairman of the Bengbu Municipal Federation of Social Sciences, and Zhu Zongyuan, the vice president of the Bengbu Municipal Party School. In his speech, Xie Bing pointed out that the participating members should carry forward the academic spirit of seeking truth and pragmatism, scientific and rigorous, summing up and refining the research results and popularize them, so as to provide a strong theoretical support for the whole city to study and propagate the spirit of the Fifth Plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. It is necessary to closely focus on the long-term goal of 2035 and the target task of the 14th Five-Year Plan period, combine the hot and difficult issues of Bengbu'sdevelopment in depth, and continuously launch deep and influential research results.
Yang Ye pointed out that the UniversityParty Committee has taken a series of effective measures in recent years, and the ideological and political work has achieved remarkable results. As the main position of ideological and political education, all teachers continue to struggle and forge ahead, and have achieved fruitful results in the development of schools, discipline construction, talent training and social service.In 2018, the School of Marxism was awarded the second batch of key construction school in Anhui Province, and the subject of Marxist theory has entered the ranking list of the best subject in China for three years in succession.
