On September 29, the 24th learning power forum and the first collective lesson preparation meeting of situation and policy course in the autumn of 2021, sponsored by the general Party branch of our school and undertaken by the third party branch of our faculty and the teaching and Research Department of situation and policy course, were held in the conference room on the eighth floor of our library. The theme of this forum is the new path of China's modernization and the new form of human civilization - learning from Xi Jinping's speech at the 100th anniversary conference of China's Communist Party. All faculty members of the college attended the forum.

Zhang Bin, secretary and Dean of the general Party branch of the general hospital, pointed out that the practice of combining the forum with the collective preparation for lessons is very new, and has organically combined the learning, research and teaching of the spirit of general secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the 100th anniversary congress of the Communist Party of China, which has promoted the transformation of the latest theoretical achievements of Marx doctrine in China from learning research to teaching practice. He pointed out that each forum is actually a very good collective lesson preparation, a theoretical improvement and teaching progress. He requested that the forum should further focus on new ideas, new problems, new propositions and new situations around teaching, enrich discussion forms and improve participation. Only in this way can we better highlight the theoretical advantages of the academy and give full play to the important role of theoretical learning and research in the political party construction, ideological party construction and service party construction of the general Party branch of the Academy.

Xu Wei, director of the teaching and Research Department of the situation and policy course, explained the teaching arrangement of the situation and policy course for the first time this semester, and put forward specific requirements for teaching implementation and assessment. Vice President Zhou Ning gave a counseling report with the theme of the spiritual pedigree of the Communist Party of China. It explained the spiritual pedigree of the Communist Party of China from the aspects of why the party building spirit is the spiritual source of the Communist Party of China and the relationship between the party building spirit and the red boat spirit, so as to guide everyone to further study and study.

Lei Lejie, Xu Shu and Cao Ling made keynote speeches on the theme of new road of Chinese modernization and new form of human civilization. Lei Lejie spoke that under the leadership of the party, the Chinese people have made great achievements that have attracted worldwide attention on the road of socialist modernization. The achievements of China's modernization show that modernization does not mean Westernization. It is entirely possible to embark on a new road of modernization characterized by self-reliance, peaceful development and inward accumulation. Xu Shu comprehensively explained the connotation of the new road of Chinese modernization from the following five aspects: China's modernization is a modernization with a huge population; It is the modernization of common prosperity for all the people; It is a modernization in which material civilization and spiritual civilization are coordinated; It is the modernization of harmonious coexistence between man and nature; It is modernization that follows the path of peaceful development. Cao Ling said that compared with the serious ethnic conflicts and social tears caused by the western style modernization road, the Chinese style modernization pursues the principles of independence, peaceful development and win-win cooperation, breaking the old logic that a strong country must dominate. This is because Chinese style modernization is led and driven by the Communist Party of China. As an idealist, the Communist Party of China advocates justice for the world and adheres to the people's position, so it has led the Chinese people out of a new road of modernization. The moderator of the forum, Mr. Chen Jie, made wonderful comments on the speeches of the three teachers from different angles.
