On the morning of April 20th, our institute held a series of lectures on the discipline workshop and the great ideological and political class, and Shi Hongbo, professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Marxism of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, was invited to give an academic report on On the Dual Narrative of Ideological and Political Education. The lecture was carried out online and offline at the same time, more than 200 teachers and students from domestic universities attended the meeting, and Zhang Bin, general secretary of the party branch and the dean of the college, presided over the lecture.

Shi Hongbo proposed that ideological and political education has a dual paradigm of social narrative and humanistic narrative, and ideological and political education itself is the antithetical unity of social narrative and humanistic narrative. He stressed the need to reconstruct paradigm research, straighten out the logical level, and transform the pure theoretical research of narrative into a narrative study of reality, etc., to carry out the theoretical construction of ideological and political education under the dual narrative logic, and then promote the transformation of the practical model.

Zhang Bin concluded that Professor Shi Hongbo's lecture deepened our understanding of the uniqueness of disciplines and professions, enlightened us to ask questions about the nature of ideological and political education, discussed how to play the function of ideological and political education, and guided us how to study hot issues in the field of ideological and political education.
