Recently, the Propaganda Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee announced the list of grassroots ideological and political work demonstration sites in the province, and the School of Marxism was successfully approved as a demonstration site for grassroots ideological and political work in the province.

The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that we should use the core socialist values to cast the soul and educate people, improve the ideological and political work system, and promote the integration of ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools. In recent years, the school has continuously deepened the reform and innovation of ideological and political theory courses in schools in the new era, explored and practiced the integration of ideological and political courses in primary and secondary schools based on the GUSS model, and achieved remarkable results. The school has built a linkage work model jointly built and shared by the party committee and government and relevant institutions (G), colleges and universities (U), society (S), and primary and secondary schools (S), forming a normalized working mechanism for the integration of ideological and political courses in primary and secondary schools with strong platform support, smooth communication and effective coordination. Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Publicity Department of the Bengbu Municipal Party Committee to jointly build the Anhui Province School Ideological and Political Course Teacher Research Base; Jointly established the Bengbu Institute of Integrated Construction of Ideological and Political Courses in Primary and Secondary Schools with Bengbu Education Working Committee; It signed cooperation and co-construction agreements with Fengyang County, Guzhen County and Wuhe County, forming a series of practical teaching bases including Xiaogang Village, Bengbu Museum, Sunjiaweizi Battle to Cross the River, and Good People Hall. Based on the platform of Anhui Provincial School Ideological and Political Course Teacher Research Base (Anhui University of Finance and Economics), the school holds special research and training on the integration of ideological and political courses in primary and secondary schools in the province, carries out thematic forums and teaching seminars on the integration of ideological and political courses in primary and secondary schools, and mobilizes and gathers the backbone of ideological and political courses in primary and secondary schools to carry out in-depth teaching and research activities.

The establishment of grassroots ideological and political work demonstration sites in the province is based on the principle of orientation and innovation, and selects grassroots ideological and political work units with fine traditions, solid foundation and rich experience, aiming to play an exemplary role and drive all levels and departments to further strengthen and improve grassroots ideological and political work in the new era.
