Our School held the 2022 graduate student orientation ceremony and an exchanging meeting of new and old students

In the afternoon of September 9, the orientation ceremony of 2022 graduate students and the exchange meeting of new and old students were held on the third floor of the library of the West Campus of Anhui University of Finance and Economics. Zhang Bin, president of the School of Marxism and secretary of the General Party Branch; Zeng Juan, deputy secretary of the General Party Branch; Zhou Ning, deputy president, tutors of master's degree programs, and head teachers of all grades attended this meeting. All postgraduate students at 2021 and 2022 participated. The activity was presided over by Zhou Ning, vice president.

 Representing the whole college, Zhang Bin warmly welcomes and congratulates the arrival of the 2022 new students. He highlighted the development process of the Marxism College and the history of construction of Marxist disciplines, and put forward new requirements for students from three aspects: 'for learning, for work, for personal growth'. He also hoped that as students of the Marxism College, we can truly achieve 'genuine learning, genuine understanding, genuine belief, genuine application', and grow together and encourage each other. Xu Wei, the representative of the tutor, encouraged students to read more books, read original books and classics, study in a planned and targeted way, and communicate with teachers and students more. Xu Yating, a 2021 ideological and political major, made a speech as a representative of Laosheng. She has given her younger siblings valuable experience and suggestions from both scientific research and life in combination with her learning experience in the school over the past year. Jiang Zehua, the freshman representative, made a speech and expressed his determination to work hard in the next three years.

 Subsequently, the exchange meeting for new and old students was held at the 2021 and 2022 levels of our college. Senior students shared their experiences of graduate life and learning from the aspects of studying, major, and supervisor, encouraging new students to study hard and think critically.  Younger students also listened attentively, introducing themselves in an engaging manner and discussing their questions and concerns about studying and daily life. IIn addition, the leaders of the graduate student union and class committees introduced the positions and responsibilities of the various departments of the student union, hoping that everyone can actively participate in the student union.

 This orientation ceremony and exchange meeting for new and old students not only helped new students understand the excellent academic atmosphere of the Marxism College and the work and activities of the student union, but also enhanced the cohesion and unity of the students of the Marxism College. It also provided experience and references for new students in their upcoming graduate life.
