On the afternoon of August 9, our college successfully held the first forum on the integrated construction of Ideological and political courses among universities,primary and secondary schools. Nearly 30 representatives from Education Science Institute of Bengbu Municipal Bureau, relative universities and mainstay teachers of Ideological and Political courses of primary and secondary schools attended the forum. Shi Xuzhai, director of the Institute for the integrated construction of Ideological and political courses, Wu Xuhan, researcher of Education Science Institute of Bengbu Education Bureau, and Zhou Ning, vice president of the college, presided over the forum in stages.

Zhang Bin, and Wu Xuhan delivered speeches respectively. Zhang Bin stressed that the forum was held to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of general secretary Xi Jinping’s speech at the symposia of Ideological and Political Theory Teachers, as well as the relevant requirements of Several Opinions on Deepening the Reform and Innovation of Ideological and Political Theory Courses in the New Era issued by the Seal of the general office of the CPC Central Committee and the general office of the State Council,which is an important measure to promote the integrated construction of Ideological and political courses. He believes that the integrated construction should focus on the fundamental problem that what kind of people to train, how to train and for whom, grasp the key factor of teachers to actively build teaching and research community, rely on the Research Institute platform to establish a good communication mechanism and actively carry out research and practice activities of integrated construction. Luo Shixin stressed that in the process of integrated construction, we should pay special attention to curriculum convergence, school-based curriculum, activity curriculum and refining ideological and political elements from other courses. Wu Xuhan pointed out that the construction of integrated should be advanced orderly and macroscopically according to overall situation.

Experts attending the forum held a heated discussion on the theme of the integrated construction, formed a high degree of consensus on positive significance of the integrated construction, and exchanged and shared the specific exploration and beneficial experience of their respective schools and posts. On behalf of the college,professor Zhou Ning presented a letter of appointment to the part-time researcher of the Institute of integrated construction. Director Shi Xuzhai made a summary of the forum and made a report on the work ideas and activity summary.
