On the morning of August 23, “Marxist Theory Frontier and Scientific Research Methods” held successfully.which was sponsored by Marxism college and Shanghai academy of social sciences magazine of the frontiers of foreign social science, undertook by Anhui University of Finance and Economics “Contemporary Applied Historical Materialism” Discipline, d.c., and college of Marxism “Marxism and the Contemporary Chinese Economic Problems” research institute.

The seminar was divided into two discussion stages,the experts and scholars had in-depth exchanges and thought collisions on the topics of “The Frontier and Trend of Marxist Theory Research under the Epidemic Situation” and “Academic Research Methods and Journal Topics”. Li Jing, editor-in-chief of Jiangsu Social Science, made a summary of the conference. She highly affirmed the holding of the seminar and put forward valuable suggestions for writing academic papers based on her own experience.

Zhang Bin, president of our college, delivered the closing speech. He pointed out that it has  great significance to hold such a forum under the acceleration of integration strategy of the Yangtze River Delta. He highly affirmed the rigorous and dedicated academic style of the participating experts, expressed his gratitude to the experts for their profound insights and guidance. Zhang Bin also briefed the participating experts on the current situation of the school’s development and some problems encountered in the process of its construction. He sincerely hoped that the participating experts would continue to guide and support the construction and development of the school. The seminar successfully gathered consensus and achieved the expected effect, which played an important role in promoting the scientific research ability of teachers and the overall development of the college.
