In order to promote the formulation of the 14th five year plan of the college, improve the quality of discipline development, and learn from the experience and practice of Marxism College of brother colleges in talent introduction, discipline construction, teaching reform and social service, from October 9 to October 10, Zhang Bin, Secretary of the general Party branch and President, Zhou Ning, vice president, Zhang Xiaojing, director of the teaching and Research Department of modern Chinese history, and deputy director of the teaching and Research Department of Ideological and political education Li Jiawu, subject Secretary Wang Fang and his party went to Changzhou University and Jiangnan University for research and exchange.

At Changzhou University, Liu Xiaohua, President of the school of Marxism, Hou xinbing, Secretary of the general Party branch, Zhu Shilong, deputy president, Zhang Juxiang, assistant to the president, and representatives of young teachers attended the symposium. President Liu Xiaohua introduced the history and development of Chang Damascus Institute in recent years. She focused on the relevant situation of modern history and Red Culture Research Institute and the fruitful achievements of red culture education. Zhang Bin expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and achievements of the Institute. He briefly introduced the discipline construction, social practice and social service of Ideological and political courses in our college in recent years. After the forum, the research group visited the red culture theme education Museum of Changzhou University.

At Jiangnan University, Liu Huanming, President of the school of Marxism, and Li Fengmei, Secretary of the general Party branch, received the research group and his party. Secretary Li Fengmei and vice president Hou Yong attended the forum. Hou Yong introduced the development process, teaching and research achievements and future development vision of the college. The two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on talent introduction, discipline construction and the formulation of the 14th five year plan.
