From October 28 to 30, the final of the fifth national teaching competition for young university teachers, sponsored by the National Committee of China education, science, health and sports trade union, was held in Nanjing University. A total of 162 contestants from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and cities) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps participated. The competition consists of five groups: liberal arts, science, engineering, medicine and ideological and political courses. Dr. Wang Cheng of the school of Marxism of our University won the third prize of the ideological and political course group, which has achieved a major breakthrough in the high-level teaching competition of our university.

In recent years, Dr. Wang Cheng has won the second prize of Anhui ideological and political theory teaching competition, the first prize of the fourth Anhui young teachers teaching competition, and was awarded the Anhui May 1st Labor Medal, which is an excellent representative of Ideological and political teachers in our university. Our school attaches great importance to the construction of Ideological and political course, increases investment in many aspects, takes effective measures, and achieves positive results.
