On the morning of November 27, Professor Wei Rong, doctoral supervisor of the school of Marxism of Hefei University of technology, was invited to give a special lecture entitled scientific research methods for postgraduates. All graduate students attended the lecture, and Zhang Bin, Secretary of the general Party branch and President of the college, presided over the lecture.

Wei Rong expounds how to carry out scientific research for postgraduates. She stressed that postgraduates should study and believe in academic research and establish self-confidence in theoretical research, strengthen problem awareness and cultivate academic independence, be diligent in thinking and exercising, and comprehensively use multi-disciplinary research methods, strictly abide by the norms of academic paper writing and moral standards, and clarify the triple relationship between text and history, reality and discourse, and speaking and writing in classic study. Wei Rong also gave a detailed answer to the students' confusion in academic research.

Focusing on the theme of scientific research methods, this lecture not only has theoretical thinking, but also has experience exchange, which has a positive role in promoting the improvement of graduate students' scientific research ability and level.
