On December 4, Professor Zhou Ning, associate professor Jinglun and Dr. Zhang Jun, vice president of the Institute, attended the 2020 annual meeting of Anhui Marxist philosophy application society. The meeting was hosted by Anhui Sanlian college, and nearly 100 experts and scholars from Hefei University of technology, Anhui University of technology, Anhui University of technology, Anhui University of Finance and economics, Sanlian college and other universities attended the meeting.

The theme of the meeting is: Public Philosophy and practical innovation. Half a century ago, Walter Lippman, a famous American thinker and political critic, talked about the necessity of reviving public philosophy in western society in his book the Public Philosophy (1956), and put forward the concept of public philosophy for the first time. In recent years, the introduction of public philosophy into China has resonance and agitation with Marxism, the thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Dr. Zhang Jun presented the paper Research on the loss of the role of democratic parties in the democratic supervision of poverty alleviation and delivered a speech at the conference. This conference has enhanced the exchange between our teachers and academic colleagues and broadened the academic vision.
