On the afternoon of April 20, a series of special lectures on learning the history of the CPC and celebrating the Centennial jointly held by the scientific research department and the school of Marxism were held in the academic lecture hall of Bowen building. Zhang MAOZe, professor and doctoral supervisor of Institute of Chinese ideology and culture of Northwest University, was invited to give a lecture. Our teachers and some graduate students attended the lecture, and vice Dean Zhou Ning presided over the lecture.
Focusing on the historical experience of the development of Sinicization of Marxism, Professor Zhang described the blending relationship between Chinese Marxism and Sinicization of Marxism from the perspective of original understanding of Marxism; Secondly, from the perspective of historical experience of Sinicization of Marxism, focusing on the national conditions of different historical periods and the governing policies of leaders of various countries, Professor Zhang analyzed that the new theories of Sinicization of Marxism in different historical stages of China are the products of the combination of Marxism and China's reality; Finally, Professor Zhang, taking the foundation and path of China's excellent culture and Marx doctrine as the breakthrough point, proposes to integrate Marx doctrine with China's traditional culture, inherit and seriously absorb the essence of Confucianism, and develop the Marx's theoretical system with Chinese characteristics.

This lecture provides a good method guidance for the academic research of teachers and students in our school, which has important value.
