On May 15, the Symposium on topic selection and planning for celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the Symposium on Party history education was held in Suzhou. The conference was organized by the theory department of Anhui Daily and the school of Marxism of Suzhou University, aiming to further strengthen the ideological and theoretical propaganda work in our province. More than ten colleges and universities in Northern Anhui attended the meeting. Professor Zhang Li, President of Suzhou University, and researcher Ji Yongchao, deputy editor in chief of Anhui Daily, delivered speeches on behalf of the conference organizers.

Professor Zhou Ning, vice Dean of our school, and Dr. Zhang Jun were invited to attend the meeting. At the stage of the conference, Professor Zhou Ning put forward three suggestions: first, to strengthen the training of theoretical writing skills for colleges and universities in the whole province; Secondly, around the topic planning, strengthen the communication and exchange between the school of Marxism and the theory department of Anhui Daily; Thirdly, closely related to the major events and figures in Anhui party history, we plan a series of topics. Dr. Zhang Jun exchanged his experience on the Centennial United Front Work of the Communist Party of China.

The meeting enhanced the exchanges between universities in Northern Anhui and the theory department of Anhui Daily, and played a positive role in improving the ideological and theoretical propaganda work in our province.
