On November 13, 2021, the 8th National Forum on The Theory and Practice of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and the seminar on One Hundred Years of the Communist Party of China and the New Road of Chinese-style Modernization -- Seriously study and deeply grasp the spirit of the sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee was held in The Party School of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee (Shanghai Institute of Administration). More than 80 experts and scholars from The Society for Theoretical Studies of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, School of Marxism of Tsinghua University, School of Marxism of Peking University attended the conference.

The forum was jointly organized by the National Society for Studies on Theories of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong and the Party School of the CPC Shanghai Committee. The conference was open to national submissions. The article Review and Analysis: The Logical Starting Point of the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics written by Zhao Sijian, a graduate student of our school in 2019, was selected and included in the conference proceedings. During the conference, Zhao Sijian, a graduate student of our college, communicated with experts and scholars online about the logical starting point of the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and won the affirmation and praise of the experts attending the conference.

It is of great significance that the Forum will be held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the successful conclusion of the sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. The meeting focused on the issues such as the Chinese-style modernization path, the major achievements of the Party's century-long struggle and historical experience, which promoted exchanges and progress among all parties. By participating in the academic forum, the students' academic horizon was broadened and the theoretical level of the postgraduates was fully displayed.
