From October 21 to 22, our school successfully held an academic seminar on Research on the Concept of Rule of Law and Important Issues in Education. Fang Zheng, Deputy Director of the Ideological and Political Theory Course Construction Research Office of the Scientific Research and Development Center of Higher Education, Wang Houlin, director of the Department of Ideological and Political Work of the Department of Education of Anhui Province, Chen Dawen, deputy directorof the Ideological Morality and Rule by Law of the Ministry of Education, Wang Shuqin, member of the Ideological Morality and Rule by Law of Education, Yu Baotao, secretary of the Party Committee of our university attended the meeting. More than 70 experts and scholars and relevant journal editors from 40 universities attended the seminar. The opening ceremony was presided over by Zhang Yaxin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the University.
Fang Zheng introduced the relevant situation, and put forward opinions on improving the teaching effect of ideological and political theory courses and jointly promoting the reform and innovation of ideological and political theory courses.
Wang Houlin congratulated the convening of the seminar and introduced the experience, effectiveness and next work plan of ideological and political theory course construction in our province in recent years.
Chen Dawen pointed out that the course of Ideological Morality and Rule by Law bears the main task of educating the concept of rule of law. He hopes that through the research of experts and scholars on the problem, the education of Ideological Morality and Rule by Law can be more effective, and further play a positive role in improving students' literacy and promoting the rule of law in China.
Yu Baotao pointed out that spreading the spirit of rule of law and building the culture of rule of law is a major issue. He said that ideological and political theory courses are the main channel, and ideological and political teachers are the main force.
The seminar was divided into four links: keynote report, keynote speech, face to face with journal editors and practice teaching base investigation of 'Big Ideological and Political course'.A total of 15 experts and scholars shared topics on the concept of rule of law and important issues in education.Journal editors face to face links hosted by Wang Cheng, vice President of the school of marxism. The closing ceremony was presided over by Professor Wang Caiming of the School of Marxism of Chuzhou University.Professor Jin Xiaoping, School of Marxism, Wuhan University, made a summary of the conference. Professor Zhang Bin, member of the Sub-Teaching Guidance Committee, secretary of the General Party Branch and dean of the School of Marxism, made a closing ceremony.
Li Jinzhu, member of the Standing Committee of Fengyang County Party Committee, Minister of United Front Work Department and first Secretary of Xiaogang Village, accompanied the investigation. This seminar focused on the important issues of the rule of law concept and its education, and conducted an in-depth discussion on the theoretical and practical issues in the teaching of Ideological Morality and Rule by Law. It has positive significance in promoting the implementation of Xi Jinping thought on the rule of law, strengthening the education of university students' concept of rule of law, and promoting curriculum teaching and scientific research.
