Xiaogang Village is the first village in China's rural reform. In order to guide young students to promote the spirit of Xiaogang and strive to be pioneers of reform, on the afternoon of October 18th, the Ministry of Education's integrated community of ideological and political courses in primary, secondary, and tertiary schools (Anhui) organized teachers and students to go to Xiaogang Village to carry out a themed practical study activity of promoting the spirit of Xiaogang and striving to be pioneers of revolution. More than 50 representatives from the School of Marxism at Anhui University of Finance and Economics and the Junior High School Department of Bengbu First Experimental School participated in this event.

This activity is divided into visiting and learning, micro promotion and lectures. In the visiting and learning session, the first step is to visit the Exhibition Hall of Comrade Shen Hao's Advanced Deeds. Each picture tells the story of Comrade Shen Hao's deep affection for this land and the people, showcasing his excellent qualities of fairness, justice, loyalty, and integrity, and learning about Comrade Shen Hao's commitment to the Party and the people with his life, which has brought new vitality and vigor to Xiaogang Village. Later, I visited the farmhouse and the architectural design inside vividly reproduced the scene of eighteen farmers preparing to take on big bags. I felt the new era changes in Xiaogang Village and appreciated and learned about local traditional culture such as Fengyang Flower Drum, Huaihe Drum, Fengyang Folk Songs, and Phoenix Noodles.

In the micro propaganda segment, Yan Jinchang, a pioneer of reform and leader of the Big Package Campaign, told the story of Big Package Campaign to teachers and students. He explained the historical process of Big Package Campaign from brewing to development from why it was launched, what impact it would bring, and the significance of the Big Package Campaign spirit for the development of Xiaogang Village in the new era. Our 2023 graduate student Zhu Xiang gave a lively and engaging lecture on the theme of Inheriting the Spirit of Xiaogang and Striving to Become a New Youth of the Times. After the lecture, our graduate students Zhang Yihan and Liu Hua, as well as seventh grade students Tong Xizhen and Wang Mohan from the junior high department of Bengbu First Experimental School, shared their research experience.

This study tour is not only a path of integrating knowledge and action, but also conducive to guiding young students to become the new generation of the times who shoulder the great responsibility of national rejuvenation. In the future, the college will continuously summarize experience, be brave in innovation, solidly promote the integration of ideological and political courses in primary, secondary, and tertiary schools, and promote the high-quality development of ideological and political course construction.
